The Assay Genie ROBO3 ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of human Roundabout Guidance Receptor 3 protein in research samples, supporting investigations in developmental neurobiology and disease mechanism research. ROBO3 is an immunoglobulin superfamily transmembrane receptor that binds SLIT1, SLIT2, and SLIT3 axon guidance ligands and is required for midline crossing of commissural axons in the developing brain and spinal cord. Loss-of-function mutations in ROBO3 cause Horizontal Gaze Palsy with Progressive Scoliosis (HGPPS), making accurate protein quantification relevant for studies of this rare neurological disorder.

Each kit contains pre-coated microplate wells along with all buffers, standards, and detection reagents necessary to perform 96 individual determinations. The assay accepts cell culture supernatant along with plasma-derived and serum-derived specimens, providing flexibility across in vitro cell-based experiments and translational research workflows. Only a standard microplate reader is required to record absorbance.
