For quantitative measurement of human RING finger protein 17 (RNF17), this Assay Genie ELISA kit supports research into germ cell biology and transposon silencing. RNF17, also called TDRD4 or MMDP1, is a testis-enriched protein featuring a RING finger motif and multiple Tudor domains; it participates in piRNA-mediated silencing of mobile genetic elements during spermatogenesis, with altered expression reported in germ cell tumour models.

The microplate-based assay ships with pre-coated wells, lyophilised standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, chromogenic substrate, and wash buffer, providing reagents sufficient for 96 Assays in a single-use break-apart strip format.
