Human RNASEN/Drosha ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RNASEN/Drosha concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. RNASEN/Drosha is a ribonuclease III double-stranded RNA-specific endoribonuclease that functions as a component of the microprocessor complex, where it cleaves primary miRNA transcripts to release precursor miRNA in the nucleus. Dysregulation of the enzyme has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and viral infections, making it a relevant biomarker for disease research.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188ng/ml and an assay range of 0.313-20ng/ml. Spiked recovery was 86-104% (average 93%) in serum, 92-100% (average 97%) in EDTA plasma and 87-105% (average 95%) in UFH plasma. Linearity across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) was 90-99%, 88-96% and 88-104% for serum; 83-101%, 86-96% and 90-96% for EDTA plasma; and 81-98%, 86-99% and 81-93% for UFH plasma. Precision is stated as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. The product is intended for research use only and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
