From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise detection of human RNase3 levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity confirmed for human. RNase3, also known as Eosinophil-Derived Neurotoxin (EDN) or Eosinophil Cationic Protein, is a key protein involved in immune response and inflammation, with roles in conditions such as asthma, allergic reactions, and parasitic infections, making it a valuable biomarker for immunology research.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 23.438 pg/mL and a standard range of 39.063-2500 pg/mL. Kits are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. The procedure uses a pre-coated plate with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin binding, and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Performance data show good linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) for serum (91-105%, 85-98%, 89-104%), EDTA plasma (82-100%, 90-101%, 82-86%), and heparin plasma (83-100%, 84-92%, 81-96%). Recovery rates are 89-100% (average 96%) for serum, 93-102% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-100% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.
