Human Ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase subunit M2 (RRM2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase subunit M2 (RRM2). RRM2 is involved in DNA synthesis and repair, catalysing the biosynthesis of deoxyribonucleotides from the corresponding ribonucleotides and inhibiting Wnt signalling; dysregulation of RRM2 has been linked to cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit reports a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Linearity is demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum (96-105%, 106-116%, 109-119%, 89-99%), EDTA plasma (106-116%, 80-88%, 107-120%, 90-100%) and heparin plasma (101-113%, 110-120%, 83-94%, 85-97%). Average recovery is 97% for serum (range 91-103%) and 99% for plasma (range 93-105%). Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human RRM2, with the kit intended for research applications in epigenetics.
