Human Ribonuclease inhibitor (RNH1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of human Ribonuclease inhibitor (RNH1) by a colorimetric method. The assay targets RNH1, which is also known as placental ribonuclease inhibitor, ribonuclease/angiogenin inhibitor 1, placental RNase inhibitor, RAI, PRI, and RNH (UniProt P13489), and it recognises both natural and recombinant human protein. RNH1 is a cytoplasmic ribonuclease inhibitor that suppresses the activity of RNASE1, RNASE2 and ANG and may also contribute to redox homeostasis, forming high-affinity heterodimers with RNASE1, ANG and RNASE2.

The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reported performance figures include a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.075 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Recovery has been reported at an average of 96% (range 90-102%) in serum and 98% (range 92-104%) in plasma. The product is supplied for research use only.
