Built around the Miro2 mitochondrial GTPase, this quantitative ELISA from Assay Genie enables researchers to measure endogenous RHOT2 levels in human research samples. RHOT2, also known as MIRO2 (Mitochondrial Rho GTPase 2), anchors to the outer mitochondrial membrane and plays a central role in controlling mitochondrial trafficking along microtubules, calcium-dependent arrest of organelle movement, and the recruitment of the autophagy machinery during mitophagy. Because altered Miro2 expression has been documented in models of neurodegeneration, metabolic stress, and apoptosis signaling, a reproducible in vitro immunoassay for RHOT2 supports studies in mitochondrial dynamics, neuronal transport, and cellular bioenergetics.

The 96 Assays kit is intended for research use only. The microplate arrives pre-coated with capture antibody, and the workflow includes calibrated reference standards, detection reagent, enzyme conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent. The colorimetric end-point is read on a standard microplate reader, and results are quantified against the supplied standard curve.
