Human RhoA ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of RhoA in human samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection and has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. RhoA (synonyms: RHOA, ARH12, ARHA; UniProt P61586) is associated with cell cycle research.

Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 has been demonstrated in serum (82–100%, 80–97%, 90–98%), EDTA plasma (82–98%, 80–97%, 85–105%), and heparin plasma (85–100%, 81–99%, 82–99%). Recovery averages 100% for serum (range 95–106%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 85–102%), and 98% for heparin plasma (range 82–95%). Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The protocol begins with reagent and TMB substrate equilibration to room temperature, followed by loading standards, samples, and blanks onto the pre-coated plate and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labeled detection antibody is then added and incubated at 37°C for 60 minutes, after which HRP-streptavidin is added for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is added for 10–20 minutes in the dark, then stop solution is added and absorbance is read at 450 nm.
