Human Rho-related GTP-binding protein Rho6 (RND1) ELISA Kit

This ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Rho-related GTP-binding protein Rho6 (RND1), a key regulator of cell migration, cytoskeletal organization, and cellular signaling pathways. The assay detects natural and recombinant human RND1 and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.

The kit offers a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.42ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 6.9% and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Recovery in serum averages 88% (range 82-94%) and in plasma 90% (range 84-96%).

RND1 is a member of the Rho GTPase family. It lacks intrinsic GTPase activity, has a low affinity for GDP, and constitutively binds GTP, controlling rearrangements of the actin cytoskeleton and inducing Rac-dependent neuritic process formation. Dysregulation of RND1 has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions, highlighting its relevance as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target.
