The Human REXO2 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is built around quantifying REXO2, a small 3'-to-5' exoribonuclease tethered to the mitochondrial matrix where it trims RNA fragments and feeds the ribonucleotide salvage pathway. Investigators working on mitochondrial nucleic acid metabolism, oxidative phosphorylation biology, or REXO2-linked disease models use the kit to track endogenous protein levels in experimental samples. Each assay uses 100 µL of sample per well, with the standard curve spanning recombinant REXO2 spiked into the assay buffer. Reagents are supplied as a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, chromogenic substrate, wash buffer, and stop solution; the full protocol runs about 3.5 hours at room temperature.
