Performance specifications include a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.53ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 5.2% and inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (81-119%), EDTA plasma (97-115%) and heparin plasma (90-116%) across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averages 103% (range 97-109%) for serum and 105% (range 99-111%) for plasma. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human RBP1.
