Human Retinoic acid receptor RXR-gamma (RXRG) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Retinoic acid receptor RXR-gamma (RXRG) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and detects both natural and recombinant human RXRG, and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.184ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.7% and inter-assay CV is 9.0%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (N=5) is 91-102%, 98-111%, 80-89% and 103-113% for serum; 97-107%, 106-116%, 81-91% and 98-110% for EDTA plasma; and 107-116%, 91-104%, 116-126% and 105-115% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages 96% (range 90-102%) in serum and 98% (range 92-104%) in plasma.

RXRG is a nuclear receptor for retinoic acid that acts as a homodimer or as a heterodimer with a RAR molecule, preferentially binding DNA as a RAR/RXR heterodimer at retinoic acid response elements, and is localized to the nucleus. The protein is also known by the synonyms Nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group B member 3, Retinoid X receptor gamma and NR2B3, with the UniProt accession P48443.
