The RERG protein (Ras-related and estrogen-regulated growth inhibitor) is a Ras superfamily GTPase that acts as a tumor suppressor and is frequently downregulated in breast cancer and other malignancies. This Assay Genie kit supports quantitative measurement of RERG in blood-derived samples for in vitro cancer biology research, estrogen receptor signaling studies, and investigations of proliferation and apoptosis pathways. The microplate-based immunoassay uses a human-specific capture antibody with no significant cross-reactivity observed with mouse or rat homologs. Reagents ship refrigerated; store the sealed kit at 4°C, protect from light, and equilibrate all components to room temperature before running the assay.
