Human Renin receptor/ATP6AP2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double-antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human renin receptor (ATP6AP2). The kit is intended for research use only and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay provides a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) is 87–101% for serum, 82–99% for EDTA plasma, and 82–101% for heparin plasma. Recovery is reported at 85–105% for serum, 86–100% for EDTA plasma, and 88–103% for heparin plasma. Components are intended to be stored at 2–8°C.

ATP6AP2, also known as the renin receptor, plays a role in regulating the renin-angiotensin system, which is essential for blood pressure control and fluid balance, making it a relevant biomarker for research into hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and kidney disorders.
