Description

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise quantification of RELB levels in human samples. The kit is reactive with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

RELB is a member of the NF-kappa-B family of transcription factors and plays a pivotal role in regulating immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Dysregulation of RELB has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions, so quantifying RELB levels can support research into disease mechanisms and the development of targeted therapies. The target is annotated to UniProt Q01201 and the kit is grouped under the Cell Biology research area. Recorded synonyms include IREL, I-Rel, V-Rel Reticuloendotheliosis Viral Oncogene Homolog B, and Transcription factor RelB.

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples, and blanks onto the pre-coated plate with a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reported kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody, and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealers, and a technical manual. The kit is stored at 2–8°C, with the microplate and standard suitable for longer storage at -20°C. Linearity data for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, along with recovery data, are included with the documentation.
