RGS10 is a GTPase-activating protein that drives G-protein alpha subunits into their inactive GDP-bound form, and dysregulation of RGS10 has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions.

The assay reacts with natural and recombinant human RGS10 and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. According to the manufacturer's specifications, it delivers a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Precision values are reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%.

Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with recovery values of 102% (range 96-108%) for serum and 104% (range 98-110%) for plasma. The kit is intended for research use only.
