Human Regenerating islet-derived protein 4 (REG4) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Regenerating islet-derived protein 4 (REG4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects both natural and recombinant human REG4 and is intended for research use only.

REG4 is a calcium-independent lectin displaying mannose-binding specificity that maintains carbohydrate recognition activity in an acidic environment, and is involved in inflammatory and metaplastic responses of the gastrointestinal epithelium. The assay has a detection range of 0.469-30ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.235ng/mL, an intra-assay precision of 6.1% CV and an inter-assay precision of 7.4% CV.

Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 107% (range 101-113%) in serum and 109% (range 103-115%) in plasma. Linearity has been validated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
