Human Regenerating islet-derived protein 3-gamma (REG3G) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Regenerating islet-derived protein 3-gamma (REG3G). The kit is intended for research use only and detects natural and recombinant human REG3G in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

REG3G is described as a bactericidal C-type lectin that acts exclusively against Gram-positive bacteria by binding to surface-exposed carbohydrate moieties of peptidoglycan, restricting bacterial colonization of the intestinal epithelial surface. Performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.78ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.4%. Linearity in serum (N=5) spans 87-95% to 107-116% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions; EDTA plasma spans 100-109% to 112-122%; and heparin plasma spans 82-92% to 94-104%. Recovery averages 96% (range 90-102%) in serum and 98% (range 92-104%) in plasma.
