Human Regenerating islet-derived protein 3-alpha (REG3A) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Regenerating Islet-Derived Protein 3 Alpha (REG3A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples.

REG3A is a secreted C-type lectin that acts against Gram-positive bacteria and regulates keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation after skin injury. Dysregulation of REG3A has been implicated in various gastrointestinal disorders, making it a valuable biomarker. The kit falls within the neuroscience research area.

Detection spans 0.78–50 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.34 ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%, and linearity and recovery data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. For research use only.
