Human REG4 (Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 4) ELISA Kit (HUES03129)

The Human REG4 Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is built on a 96-well microplate with colorimetric detection, allowing quantitative measurement of Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 4 in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. REG4 is a secreted C-type lectin preferentially expressed in gastrointestinal epithelium, and elevated circulating levels have been reported in colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers, as well as in inflammatory bowel disease. The kit contains pre-coated wells, biotinylated detection antibody, calibrated standards, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate sufficient for 96 individual determinations. Absorbance is read at 450 nm with a reference wavelength at 620 nm. Typical assay runtime is under 3 hours at room temperature. Unopened kits should be stored at 2-8 °C, while reconstituted standards and working solutions should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C, protected from light. The assay is for research use only and demonstrates minimal cross-reactivity with related REG family members.
