Human Reg1B PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1034)

Reg1B (Regenerating islet-derived protein 1-beta) is a secreted C-type lectin expressed in the exocrine pancreas and gastrointestinal mucosa, where it participates in islet cell regeneration, mucosal repair, and innate immune defense.

This research use only assay from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Reg1B protein in human research samples, supporting investigations of acute pancreatitis, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, inflammatory bowel disease, and type 1 diabetes where REG1B has been examined as a candidate biomarker.

The kit uses a two-antibody capture-and-detection format with a microplate-based optical readout, validated for use with cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum derived from human donors. Capture and detection antibodies are raised against the human Reg1B isoform and discriminate against the closely related Reg1A paralog, minimizing paralog cross-reactivity in tested matrices.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, assay diluent, wash buffer, recombinant standards, detection reagent, substrate solution, and stop solution, sufficient to run a full plate of unknowns alongside a standard curve.
