Human Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase F (PTPRF) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies this Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative detection of Human Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase F (PTPRF), also referred to by the synonyms Leukocyte common antigen related and LAR. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with human samples, employing a colorimetric detection method.

Validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the assay provides a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.43ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%.

Linearity was assessed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in serum (109-119%, 105-115%, 108-118%, 103-113%), EDTA plasma (83-83%, 82-91%, 82-95%, 81-90%) and heparin plasma (102-113%, 90-102%, 94-103%, 81-93%). Spiked recovery averaged 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant human PTPRF, a single-pass type I membrane protein implicated in cell adhesion, cell migration and transmembrane receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase signaling, with dysregulation linked in the literature to cancer and neurological disorders.
