Description

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase C (PTPRC), a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase also referred to as CD45, Leukocyte common antigen, T200, and L-CA. The assay is intended for research use only and is reactive with human samples.

The kit uses a sandwich ELISA format with a reported detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 7.5% CV and inter-assay precision at 8.8% CV. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5), with recoveries falling within the ranges shown in the product specifications. Spike-and-recovery testing shows an average recovery of 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma.

Recommended sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human PTPRC. PTPRC is a single-pass type I membrane protein (UniProt P08575, predicted molecular weight 61.6kD) that acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4 and is described as an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling, supporting its relevance to cancer research.
