Human Receptor-type tyrosine-protein kinase FLT3 (FLT3) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Receptor-type tyrosine-protein kinase FLT3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. The assay covers a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 21 pg/mL.

Reported precision shows an intra-assay CV of 3.9% and an inter-assay CV of 6.2%. Linearity has been validated at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 92% (range 86-98%) in serum and 94% (range 88-100%) in plasma. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human FLT3.

FLT3 is a class III receptor tyrosine kinase of the PDGFR family that binds the FL cytokine and regulates differentiation, proliferation and survival of hematopoietic progenitor cells and dendritic cells. Constitutively activating mutations are found in acute myeloid leukemia and other hematological malignancies, making accurate quantitation of FLT3 relevant to signal transduction and oncology research.
