Human Reactive oxygen species modulator 1 (ROMO1) ELISA Kit

ROMO1 induces the production of reactive oxygen species required for cell proliferation and may also contribute to oxidative DNA damage, replicative senescence and the coordination of mitochondrial morphology. Dysregulation of ROS has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disorders, making ROMO1 a relevant biomarker for research into oxidative stress-related conditions. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.06 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Reported linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 falls within the ranges listed, with serum recovery averaging 101% (range 95–107%) and plasma recovery averaging 103% (range 97–109%).
