Human RCAS1 ELISA Kit (HUFI06858)

The Assay Genie RCAS1 immunoassay supports quantitative measurement of Receptor-binding Cancer Antigen expressed on SiSo cells in human samples using a colorimetric readout. RCAS1, also referred to as EBAG9, is a tumor-associated membrane protein that contributes to immune evasion by tumor cells, and its soluble circulating form is investigated as a biomarker in cancer research, including in breast, ovarian, pancreatic, and hepatocellular carcinoma studies.

This research-use-only ELISA Kit is supplied as a complete package of reagents for in vitro laboratory workflows, including investigations of immune escape mechanisms in solid tumors where EBAG9/RCAS1 overexpression has been described. The format supports studies of correlations between circulating RCAS1 levels and tumor grade, disease stage, or treatment response, as well as characterization of how the soluble form of this tumor antigen interacts with T and NK cell populations.

Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 96 Assays in a microplate-based workflow and is configured for measurement of the human target.
