The Assay Genie immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of Regulator of Calcineurin 2 (RCAN2) protein in human research specimens. RCAN2, also designated DSCR1L1 or ZAKI-4, is a phosphoprotein that modulates calcineurin–NFAT signaling and is investigated in studies of thyroid hormone response, oxidative stress, and transcriptional regulation.

Built for research use only, the kit supports investigation of calcineurin pathway activity in cell culture models and tissue-derived extracts. Each kit contains pre-coated plate strips, diluents, wash buffer, recombinant standards, and detection reagents configured for 96 individual reactions on a standard microplate. Researchers commonly pair this ELISA with western blot or qPCR validation when profiling expression of the RCAN2-1, RCAN2-2, RCAN2-3, and RCAN2-4 splice variants.

Standard curves are generated from a recombinant human RCAN2 calibrator series, with absorbance read on a microplate reader.
