Human RBM3/RNA-binding protein 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit employing a double antibody format from Assay Genie, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RBM3 (RNA-binding protein 3) concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The kit is for research use only.

RBM3 is a cold-inducible mRNA binding protein that enhances global protein synthesis at both physiological and mild hypothermic temperatures, reduces the relative abundance of microRNAs when overexpressed, and supports phosphorylation of translation initiation factors and active polysome formation. It functions in RNA processing, regulation of translation, and cellular response to cold.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875pg/ml and a working range of 78.125-5000pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery in serum averaged 96% (range 88-104%), in EDTA plasma averaged 94% (range 86-102%), and in UFH plasma averaged 97% (range 90-102%). Linearity across serial dilutions was 85-105% in serum, 82-100% in EDTA plasma, and 82-98% in UFH plasma. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV<8% and inter-assay precision as CV<10%. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months and is supplied with an ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, wash buffer, and ancillary reagents.
