Human RBL1/Retinoblastoma-like protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the accurate detection of RBL1 (Retinoblastoma Like Protein 1) levels in human samples. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. RBL1 is a key protein that plays a critical role in cell cycle regulation and cell growth control, and is involved in DNA replication, repair, and transcriptional regulation. Dysregulation of RBL1 has been linked to diseases including cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for research applications.

The assay uses colorimetric detection with a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL. Kits should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples on the pre-coated plate with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding (37°C for 60 minutes), HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation (37°C for 30 minutes), TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Sample preparation protocols cover serum (centrifuge at 1000 × g for 20 minutes), plasma (1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm for 5 minutes), and cell lysate.
