RASSF7 (Ras Association Domain Family Member 7) is a member of the N-terminal RASSF subfamily and functions as a regulator of mitotic progression and cytokinesis. The protein localizes to centrosomes during cell division and supports proper mitotic spindle assembly; loss of expression produces multinucleated cells and polyploidy. Altered RASSF7 levels have been reported in prostate, breast, and hepatocellular carcinoma studies, placing the analyte in active cell cycle and tumor biology research programs.
