The RASSF1 protein is a tumor suppressor that participates in Hippo pathway signaling, regulates mitotic checkpoint integrity, and promotes apoptosis in response to oncogenic stress. Epigenetic silencing of the RASSF1A isoform through promoter CpG hypermethylation is frequently observed in lung, breast, colorectal, and renal carcinomas, making quantitative measurement useful for oncology biomarker discovery. This Assay Genie microplate-based kit supports detection of human RASSF1 in research samples using a sample volume of 50 ul per well, with the assay run in a 96-well microplate format requiring approximately 3.5 hours of total incubation time.
