Human Ras-related protein Rap-1A (RAP1A) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Ras-related protein Rap-1A (RAP1A) in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and has been validated for use with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human Ras-related protein Rap-1A.

The kit has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.056ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.6% and inter-assay CV is 7.0%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 105-114% at 1:2 to 102-114% at 1:16 dilution. EDTA plasma (N=5) shows linearity of 92-102% to 84-94% across the same dilutions, while heparin plasma (N=5) ranges from 107-117% to 91-103%. Recovery in serum averages 84% (range 80-90%) and in plasma averages 86% (range 80-92%).

RAP1A is a small GTPase of the Ras family involved in cell signaling, adhesion, migration, and proliferation. Dysregulation of the protein has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and immune-related conditions. The relevant UniProt accession is P62834. For research use only.
