Human Ras-related protein Rab-8A (RAB8A) ELISA Kit

Specificity is reported for both natural and recombinant human Ras-related protein Rab-8A (UniProt P61006), with listed synonyms including Oncogene c-mel, MEL, and RAB8. Rab-8A is described as a key protein involved in intracellular vesicle trafficking and membrane fusion, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and immunodeficiency syndromes, supporting its relevance as a biomarker in disease research and drug development efforts.

According to the manufacturer, the detection range is 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.056ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.3%. Reported linearity across dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 is 95-106%, 97-107%, 86-95%, and 100-110% for serum (N=5); 104-114%, 103-113%, 93-103%, and 105-116% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 105-115%, 105-117%, 101-113%, and 81-91% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery is 100% (94-106%) for serum and 102% (96-108%) for plasma.
