The assay covers a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.44ng/mL, and reports precision values of 8.1% intra-assay CV and 9.4% inter-assay CV.

Linearity data is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery is reported as 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma. The kit detects natural and recombinant human RAB19 and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.
