Human Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1/RAC1 ELISA Kit

A high quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Ras-Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 (Rac1). The kit uses a colorimetric double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for use with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

Rac1 is a key GTPase protein involved in regulating cell migration, proliferation, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Dysregulation of Rac1 activity has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders, making quantitative measurement of Rac1 a valuable tool for studying disease mechanisms and exploring potential therapeutic targets.

Recovery testing in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma yielded average recovery values of 96%, 95%, and 96%, respectively, with recovery ranges of 90–105%, 85–104%, and 89–104%. Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions for serum (86–104%), EDTA plasma (83–100%), and heparin plasma (80–99%). Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C, with stability maintained for 12 months.
