Description

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of human RAP1GDS1 (Rap1 GTPase-GDP dissociation stimulator 1) levels in biological samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It is a double-antibody sandwich assay with colorimetric detection.

RAP1GDS1 is a key regulator of the RAP1 GTPase protein, playing a vital role in cellular processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation. Dysregulation of RAP1GDS1 has been implicated in several diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for understanding disease mechanisms and developing targeted therapies.

The reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL, with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85–105%, 87–99% and 83–100% in serum; 85–94%, 91–97% and 84–99% in EDTA plasma; and 86–97%, 85–94% and 84–96% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages are 96% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma) and 95% (heparin plasma). The procedure involves equilibrating reagents, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
