Human Rap1 GTPase-GDP dissociation stimulator 1 (RAP1GDS1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables measurement of human Rap1 GTPase-GDP dissociation stimulator 1 (RAP1GDS1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity established against natural and recombinant human RAP1GDS1. The colorimetric assay has a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.095 ng/mL.

RAP1GDS1 stimulates the GDP/GTP exchange reaction of small GTP-binding proteins including Rap1a/Rap1b, RhoA, RhoB and KRas, and acts as a regulator of cell signalling involved in cell growth, differentiation and adhesion. Dysregulation has been linked to cancer and cardiovascular disorders, supporting its value as a biomarker for related research. Reported performance includes an intra-assay CV of 4.4%, an inter-assay CV of 7.8%, serum recovery averaging 93% (range 87-99%) and plasma recovery averaging 95% (range 89-101%). Linearity has been validated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit is intended for research use only.
