Human RANTES/CCL5 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human RANTES/CCL5. The kit is reactive with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. It employs a double-antibody sandwich format and targets the RANTES chemokine, also known as CCL5, SCYA5, or SISd (UniProt P13501).

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL (1 pg = 25 mIU). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 89–105%, 88–105%, and 89–103% for serum (n = 5); 82–99%, 82–101%, and 82–94% for EDTA plasma (n = 5); and 81–94%, 81–95%, and 83–93% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Spiking recovery ranges are 89–105% for serum (n = 5), 90–98% for EDTA plasma (n = 5), and 86–103% for heparin plasma (n = 5), each averaging 94%.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents, loading standards and samples onto pre-coated wells, primary incubation at 37 °C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Unopened components should be stored at 2–8 °C, with a stated shelf life of 12 months under those conditions.
