Human RAI3/GPRC5A ELISA Kit

A colourimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for quantitative detection of human RAI3 (also known as GPRC5A, RAIG1 and GPCR5A), a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family implicated in cell proliferation, differentiation and migration. The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

Using a double-antibody format, the assay provides a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard curve range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity was demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, with serum ranging from 83–104%, EDTA plasma from 82–100% and heparin plasma from 80–100%. Spike-and-recovery in the same matrices averaged 97% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 98% for heparin plasma. The workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, binding of a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin incubation, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for 12 months.

Intended for research use in the field of cell biology, the kit supports studies of RAI3/GPRC5A dysregulation and its role in disease pathology, including cancer-related research and potential therapeutic investigations.
