RAD1 (checkpoint DNA exonuclease) operates within the 9-1-1 sliding clamp complex alongside RAD9 and HUS1, where it senses DNA lesions and activates ATR-dependent checkpoint signaling to halt the cell cycle for repair. Quantifying RAD1 levels can therefore support studies of DNA damage response, genomic stability, and tumor biology research.

This 96 Assays microplate kit is calibrated for serum or plasma samples, as well as cell lysates and tissue homogenates, with a recommended sample loading volume of 100 µL per well. Reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival; reconstituted standards are best aliquoted and stored frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles, while other components remain refrigerated between uses.
