Human RAC-alpha serine/threonine-protein kinase (AKT1) ELISA Kit

AKT1, also referred to by synonyms such as Protein kinase B, Protein kinase B alpha, Proto-oncogene c-Akt, RAC-PK-alpha, and PKB alpha, is a key enzyme involved in cell survival, growth, and metabolism. Dysregulation of AKT1 has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and neurological disorders, making it a critical biomarker (UniProt P31749). The kit offers a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.195ng/mL, with a reported intra-assay CV of 4.8% and inter-assay CV of 7.6%.

Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 (N=5), with reported ranges such as 99-111% to 104-114% for serum across the dilution series. Recovery averaged 97% for serum (range 91-103%) and 99% for plasma (range 93-105%). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human RAC-alpha serine/threonine-protein kinase.
