Human RAB14/Ras-related protein Rab-14 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of human RAB14 (Ras-related protein Rab-14) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.781–50 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB-based color development. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

RAB14 is a small GTPase of the Rab family involved in intracellular membrane trafficking and vesicle transport, including Golgi-to-endosome transport and endocytic recycling. Dysregulation of the protein has been linked to cancer, metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative conditions, making it a target of interest for biomarker and therapeutic research. Validated linearity spans 82–116% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with reported recovery averaging 98% (serum), 93% (EDTA plasma) and 96% (heparin plasma).

The procedure follows a standard sandwich workflow: equilibrate reagents and the pre-coated plate, incubate samples and standards at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotin-labelled detection antibody (37°C, 60 minutes), then HRP-Streptavidin (37°C, 30 minutes), develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, stop the reaction and read absorbance at 450 nm.
