QTRTD1 encodes the accessory subunit of queuine tRNA-ribosyltransferase, the heterodimeric enzyme that catalyzes insertion of the hypermodified nucleoside queuosine (Q) into the wobble anticodon position of tRNAs specific for Asp, Asn, His, and Tyr. Queuosine modification is conserved across most eukaryotes and bacteria, and dysregulation of QTRTD1 expression has been investigated in studies of translational recoding, cellular proliferation, and stress response pathways.

This Assay Genie ELISA Kit is supplied in a 96 Assays microplate configuration. Reagents are shipped on cold packs; on receipt, store the sealed kit refrigerated until first use. After opening, standards and detection antibody should be kept refrigerated, while the concentrated wash buffer is brought to room temperature before dilution. Protect substrate solutions from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of diluted working reagents. The standard procedure uses 100 µL of sample per well.
