Human QDPR/Dihydropteridine reductase ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the quantitative measurement of human Dihydropteridine reductase (QDPR), also referenced by the synonyms DHPR, HDHPR, PKU2 and SDR33C1. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric read-out measured at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions.

Performance figures supplied for this kit include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Spiking recovery across matrices was 93-103% (average 97%) for serum, 90-105% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-103% (average 97%) for heparin plasma. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 89-102%, 86-105% and 90-105% for serum; 89-101%, 83-100% and 86-99% for EDTA plasma; and 83-97%, 89-99% and 82-97% for heparin plasma. The kit is positioned for research applications in the metabolism area, where QDPR is studied as an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of tetrahydrobiopterin.
