The workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, and TMB colour development read at 450 nm. Reported recovery is 90-101% (average 96%) in serum, 87-105% (average 96%) in EDTA plasma, and 85-104% (average 94%) in heparin plasma, with linearity spanning 81-105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions in the same matrices.
