Human Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Beta/PDHB ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA uses a double-antibody, colorimetric method to measure human Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Beta (PDHB) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

PDHB is a key enzyme that converts pyruvate to acetyl-CoA, a central step in cellular metabolism, and its dysregulation has been implicated in metabolic disorders such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB colour development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma falls between 80% and 104% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with average recovery of 96% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma) and 93% (heparin plasma).
