Human Pyrin/MEFV ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of human Pyrin (also known as MEFV, MEF, or Marenostrin; UniProt O15553) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay is intended for use in Immunology research.

Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; recovery across those samples falls within 86-103%, with average recovery of 92-98% depending on the matrix. All components should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

The workflow includes equilibrating reagents, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, binding of a biotin-labelled detection antibody, addition of HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution is added.
