Human Pyridoxal kinase (PDXK) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the accurate and precise quantitative measurement of human pyridoxal kinase (PDXK). The assay uses a colorimetric readout and is intended for research use only within the cell biology research area. Pyridoxal kinase plays a critical role in the metabolism of vitamin B6, which is essential for various cellular functions including neurotransmitter synthesis, gene expression, and immune system regulation. The target is a cytoplasmic homodimer required for the synthesis of pyridoxal-5-phosphate from vitamin B6, with specificity for natural and recombinant human PDXK.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 6.1% and an inter-assay CV of 11.4%. Linearity has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples, and recovery has been evaluated in serum and plasma.
