Human PWWP domain-containing protein MUM1 (MUM1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human PWWP domain-containing protein MUM1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only, supporting cell biology studies related to chromatin remodeling, gene regulation, and the DNA damage response.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 32 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.0%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions, with recovery averaging 94% in serum (range 88-100%) and 96% in plasma (range 90-102%). The target protein localises to the nucleus, where it contributes to the maintenance of chromatin architecture and is recruited to DNA damage sites via interaction with TP53BP1.
