Human Putative peptide YY-2 (PYY2) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Putative peptide YY-2 (PYY2), a secreted peptide hormone implicated in the regulation of appetite, digestion and metabolism, in human samples. The assay is reactive with human specimens and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target is annotated under UniProt Q9NRI6 with a reported molecular weight of 3,432 Da.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 8.12 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 8.0% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. The assay detects natural and recombinant human Putative peptide YY-2. Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 103% (range 97-109%) in serum and 105% (range 99-111%) in plasma. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with recoveries of 81-105% for serum, 96-119% for EDTA plasma, and 88-110% for heparin plasma across the dilution series.
